Ten-C was founded by Alessandro Pungetti and Paul Harvey, who previously worked together at C.P. Company. Pungetti's extensive experience perfectly complements Harvey's design history at Stone Island. This duo was, and clearly demonstrates, a great match for developing products together at Ten-C. Ten-C was designed by Alessandro Pungetti and contributed by Enzo Fusco. Ten-C is true to values such as craftsmanship that evolves into actions to create clothes that last a lifetime, which aligns with the vision of eliminating waste. Part of this vision is to produce only quality products and ensure they last.

The brand's name is an abbreviation of The Emperor's New Clothes, a Danish fairy tale.
